Annual Gilda’s Golf Classic Slated for September 24 at the Prestigious Golf Club of Tennessee

NASHVILLE, TENN. – July 31, 2018 – Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, a non-profit dedicated to providing social and emotional support to those impacted by cancer, including family members and friends of those diagnosed, will host its annual Gilda’s Club Classic on September 24, 2018. Held at the prestigious Golf Club of Tennessee in Kingston Springs – lauded by Golf Digest as one of America’s 50 Greatest Golf Retreats – the event is in its twelfth year and remains one of the local non-profit’s biggest annual fundraisers.

“I look forward to this event every year. When you pair such a stunning course with a great cause like Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee, it’s no wonder it sells out every time,” said Allen Huggins, owner of WH Properties and member of the Gilda’s Golf Classic committee. “And none of this would be possible without our generous sponsors, like Christie Cookie and Enterprise Solutions, both of which have been long-time supports of Gilda’s Club.”

Gilda’s Golf Classic will kick-off at 10:30 a.m. on September 24 with player check-in, the opening of the driving range and a barbecue lunch. The shotgun start will follow at noon, along with a post-tournament cocktail reception at 4:30 p.m. and an awards dinner and program at 5 p.m.
