About The Red Door Bash
Now in its seventh year, the Red Door Bash is Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The award-winning annual event celebrates free cancer support for individuals and families in 15 Middle Tennessee counties, and honors community leaders and volunteers for their giving hearts and extraordinary impact. Last year, Emmy and Tony award-winning comedy writer, producer, and original Saturday Night Live writer, Alan Zweibel, was our featured speaker, adding to the event’s prestige. This year’s event is slated for Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Omni Nashville Hotel.
Tickets to Red Door Bash are $300 and include a cocktail reception with hors d’oeuvres and three-course meal with wine service; access to a highly-curated silent auction that includes original art, hand-made jewelry, travel, fine dining experiences, and more.
The evening begins with a cocktail hour at 6:00 PM, before guests are welcomed to enter the ballroom for the evening’s programming. Programming will take place through out the evening and this year’s honorees will be:
- Red Door Champion Award: Steve and Helen Lane
- Shining Star Award: Scott Perry and The Memorial Foundation
- Nancy Saturn Award of Inspiration: Elaine Dorris
Over the years, Red Door Bash special guests have included award-winning news anchor, filmmaker, and writer Demetria Kalodimos, singer/songwriters Jenny Tolman and Dave Brainard, and recording artist Charlie Worsham. Additionally, the event has received multiple NFocus “Best of” awards, including Best Photo Op/Backdrop, Best Online Auction, and Best Special Guest.
